What size dogs can use the Laps of Luxury dog beds?
Well, my Great Dane loves his Lap of Luxury dog bed but he can only fit one paw at a time on it. In general, it’s intended for small dogs of about 25-30 pounds or less, but it depends on how tightly your dog curls up when he sleeps. Examples of breeds that should be able to fit on the Laps of Luxury dog bed: Chihuahua, Beagle, Pug, Dachshund, Bichon Frise, Boston Terrier, French Bulldog, Lhasa Apso, Maltese, Miniature Pinscher, Shih-Tzu, West Highland White Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier. Cats of almost every size enjoy sleeping in the Laps dog bed too! Here’s a good rule of thumb: Most of the jeans we use are a women’s size 8-10. If you were a size 8-10, would your dog be able to fit in your lap?
How long will my dog bed take to arrive once I’ve ordered it?
Since all Laps of Luxury pet beds are carefully handmade, their creation takes about a week from the time you place your order. Shipping time averages 5-7 days. Total time between ordering and arriving on your doorstep is about 2 weeks.
Are they washable?
Yes. We recommend spot cleaning but if you feel the dog bed needs a more thorough cleaning, please wash it as you would any finely made pillow: gentle cycle, cold water. You may tumble dry on lowest temperature setting or let the pet bed air dry.
Are the beds pet safe?
We know dogs have a tendency to investigate with their mouths, so we’ve taken as many precautions as we can. The tassels and trim are all upholstery-grade just like you’d find on any fine furniture or throw pillow. The stuffing is 100% polyester fiber, the same as you find in many plush dog toys. Trim and accessories are securely sewn or glued onto the beds but a tenacious little chewer can probably still pull them off. It’s a good idea to remove the bed if it becomes torn or damaged in any way as some of the trims could be a choking hazard if ingested.
Can you use my own jeans so it smells like me?
Of course - we encourage it! You may send us your jeans, your belt, or even your shirts to be used as the fabric topper or the heart-shaped patch on your Lap of Luxury. Fill out the order form, choose ‘yes’ on the “Will you be mailing us fabrics or pants you’d like us to use?” question and then send them to the address listed at the bottom of the order form page.
Can I buy in bulk for a discount?
Absolutely. Wholesale/Bulk discount prices begin at 10 or more beds. To avoid any confusion it’s easiest to call us (234-pet-beds) to place a multiple bed order.
Can I buy a gift certificate for a friend?

Can my ferret use a Laps of Luxury dog bed?
Our pet beds can be used by any critter that would love to sit in YOUR lap! Again, it’s a good idea to remove the bed if it becomes torn or damaged in any way as some of the trims could be a choking hazard if ingested.
